Organizing a Pilgrimage

Pope Leo XIV has proclaimed a Jubilee Year of St. Francis from January 10, 2026 to January 10, 2027. The faithful who visit our monastery chapel during this time may gain a plenary indulgence. To promote this sacred time and opportunity, the Poor Clares have announced the possibility of making a pilgrimage to their monastery.

I'm an individual, how can I make a visit?

The chapel is open daily for 7:00 a.m. Mass and on Fridays with all day with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament following the 7:00 a.m. Mass and concluding at 4:10 p.m. with Reposition and Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament.

Any individual wishing to visit the Chapel outside of these hours, when the Chapel door is locked, is welcome to ring the doorbell at the main monastery entrance for access. Visitors are welcome between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

What does a pilgrimage visit for a group look like?

Visits are scheduled Mondays through Saturdays between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from July through December.

For pilgrimage groups, there are two options: A morning visit or an afternoon visit. To see a detailed example for each, please follow the link below.

I want to bring a group, how does that work?
